There Queen Mary of Denmark landed on October 2nd in Brazil for an official trip to the South American country, where she will remain until Saturday the 5th. An expedition awaited her in Manaus that would take her along the Amazon River and allow her to closely observe the challenges this region faces and the possible solutions to the problems of climate change. After this visit to the Amazon, Mary of Denmark was received by the governor of the region, Wilson Lima, at the Amazonas Theater in Manaus.
