According to a police statement, seven of the victims, between the ages of 20 and 40, were killed in the club, and the eighth succumbed to his hospital injuries. Authorities reported that heavily armed perpetrators arrived with motorcycles and two vehicles. The motive of the attack, which occurred two days after an armed ship on a boat near the El Mountain, in the southwest of the country, was not known immediately.
