Masseur Marcos Filipi das Dores Costa, aged 27, was arrested in the act last Thursday night (19) after being accused of sexual abuse against a client in Rio de Janeiro.
The case occurred in a spa that operates inside a luxury shopping mall in Leblon, in the south zone of the capital of Rio de Janeiro. Costa is expected to undergo a custody hearing this Saturday (21), according to the Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice.
According to the Military Police, called to deal with the case, the man is accused of touching the victim’s private parts during a relaxing body massage session.
The occurrence was recorded by the flagrant center, in Copacabana, and the case was forwarded to the Leblon police station. According to the victim’s statement, she received a relaxing massage and lymphatic drainage session as a gift from her boyfriend.
At the spa, in the massage room, the client noticed that the therapist began to make movements that would not be in accordance with the normal procedure. Even in shock, the victim said he managed to scream for help.

In a statement, the company informed that from the first moment of the complaint it was committed to clarifying the case, collaborating with the investigations.
Furthermore, the spa stated that it offered the client support and hospitality and that it is following the procedures related to the employee before the courts. “We are aware of the seriousness of the accusation and will not shy away from taking the appropriate measures,” he said in an excerpt of the statement.
According to the Civil Police, the masseur will be liable for the crime of sexual rape through fraud, when a professional uses his role to commit the libidinous act.
