Starting next Saturday, May 7, the CNN Brazil will show the series “Culinary Days” production of CNN International . The program will air on Saturdays at 9:45 pm, right after the CNN Travel & Gastronomy .
“Culinary Journeys” will show the gastronomic exchange between two world-renowned chefs, on a journey to explore new flavors. With each episode, they go out in search of inspiration and references to transform their dishes and styles based on new ingredients and other cultures.
The season will have ten episodes, starting with two prominent names from Italy and France. the italian chef Massimo Bottura travels to London, where he exchanges knowledge with renowned British colleague Fergus Henderson. The French chef Dominique Crenn takes a culinary journey through Basque gastronomy, in which he accompanies the experiences of the traditional Arzak family in the Spanish city of San Sebastian.
The other episodes feature the participation of famous chefs such as Vicky Lau (Hong Kong); Gaggan Anand (Bangkok); Kevin Gillespie (USA); Edward Kwon (South Korea); Helene Darroze (France); Virgilio Martinez (Peru); Rene Redzepi (Turkey); Margarita Forés (Philippines); Enrique Olvera (Mexico); and Esben Holmboe Bang (Norway).
“Culinary Journeys” will have the presentation of Gloria Vanique journalist and presenter of “CNN Nosso Mundo” and the documentaries shown by the channel in prime time.
