The first participants in the new edition of MasterChef Brasil were selected this Tuesday (28), with the premiere of the 11th season.
In the episode, broadcast on TV Bandeirantes, some of the competitors were chosen in clashes with regional dishes and the participation of special guests.
Meet the first participants of “MasterChef Brasil 2024”:
Laura, 23 years old
The first candidate to win the new season's apron was Laura, 23 years old. The woman from Espírito Santo got the upper hand when preparing a moqueca against Jefferson from Bahia.

Roberto, 55 years old, and Pâmela, 42 years old
Afterwards, four contestants entered the show's kitchen. In preparing a mincemeat, two members from Rio de Janeiro faced two people from São Paulo, who ended up winning the dispute.

José Roberto, 46 years old
With a meat carpaccio, José Roberto secured his apron in the 11th season. At this stage, he faced Tatiana in preparing a dish with the ingredient sun-dried meat.

Pietro, 27 years old, and Lucas, 29 years old
Afterwards, another round with four participants took place with fish as a mandatory ingredient. Four cooks from SP competed for the apron and Pietro and Lucas came out on top.

Andréia, 44 years old
Two candidates from the South region faced each other in the dispute with pinhão. Andréia, who had already signed up for the program five times, got the apron and was very excited when she received the news that she was officially in the competition.

Alzileide, 40 years old
In a dispute with Ailton, in which cassava needed to be present, the Manauara woman served cassava mousseline and tambaqui bait to the judges and secured her place among the participants of the 11th edition.

Gabriela, 35 years old, and Vinícius, 31 years old
Gabriela and Vinícius pleased the chefs with the best farofas of the night. The man from São Paulo made a vegetarian version while the woman from Goiás served the recipe accompanied by corn angu.

Rafaela, 36 years old, and Vitor, 29 years old
In the last fight of the night, the participants had to cook with okra. Rafaela and Vitor did their best and secured their dream MasterChef Brasil aprons.

Next Tuesday (4), the competition continues and more cooks compete for the remaining places.
