MasterChef: judges break protocol, and two contestants return from the repechage

In the repechage of the MasterChef Brazil which happened on Tuesday (28), the chefs broke a protocol by giving a second chance to two participants . After facing two tests and performing well, Larissa and Andrea returned to the game.

The repechage process has been going on for many seasons of the program, broadcast on Band, and usually only one amateur cook returns to the competition. However, this time, the judges Erick Jacquin , Helena Rizzo and Henry Fogaça decided to “break the rules”.

In the 14th episode, the contestants eliminated from the 11th season returned to the kitchen to compete for a spot in the game. The first challenge was to prepare, in pairs, a complete brunch, with five items and a drink.

After this round, six participants went on to a second challenge, which involved a naval battle. In the end, Andréia and Larissa did well and won the repechage.

Biggest prize of the program

In addition to the MasterChef trophy, the winner of this season will take home the biggest cash prize of all seasons of the program: R$350,000.

The winner will also receive a set of Royal Prestige pans, a complete gourmet kitchen from Brastemp, a store from the Seu Espresso by Aram chain, R$50,000 in Camicado products and a complete course at the Le Cordon Bleu gastronomy school.
