The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mauro Vieira, took advantage of the UN summit to hold bilateral meetings with countries participating in the meeting and with the UN Secretary-General, António Guterres.
The chancellor questioned Guterres about his visit to the Rafah crossing. In the conversation, the conclusion is that the 20 trucks of humanitarian aid that passed to the Gaza Strip are “absolutely insufficient” to serve the civilians who are surrounded by the conflict between Hamas and Israel.
Vieira also met with representatives from Norway, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Egypt and the Arab League.

The Brazilian’s speech was evaluated as positive by the Palestinian ambassador to Brazil, Ibrahim Alzeben. For the Palestinian representative, Vieira was correct in stating that “there are no winners in this war”.
