São Paulo funk artist Oliver Santos, better known by his stage name MC Livinho, or simply Livinho, aged 29, started recording a pagode album.
Rio producer and composer Wilson Rodrigues, better known as Wilson Prateado, or just Prateado, published a photo with the singer this Thursday (8) to announce the news.
“MC Livinho, we begin”, he wrote in the caption. In the image, they appear in a recording studio.
Prateado is one of the most important names in samba and pagode music in Brazil today, having produced several hits for artists such as Belo and Thiaguinho.
He is also one of the names responsible for the “Tardezinha” project.
In 2022, Livinho had already commented that he was thinking about making a pagode album. In an interview on Multishow, he also stated that he really likes the genre and that he spent a good part of his adolescence listening to it.
Last Tuesday (6), Livinho released the song “Cena de Filme” in partnership with singer Ludmilla.
She is even a national reference in her ability to move between musical genres, as she has been successful with the project “Numa Nice”, in which she sings pagode songs.
Ludmilla, like Livinho, also began to be successful with funk.
