THE funk player MC Paiva was one of the targets of the Federal Police operation against a scheme to pay bribes to police officers, this Thursday (12).
The investigation points out that civil police officers in São Paulo had requested values to producers, businesspeople and singers not to advance in criminal misdemeanor investigations for exploitation of gambling.
The PF points out that these games would be “raffles” promoted and publicized by artists and influencers on your social networks.
The police seized several of the singer’s jewelry, including necklaces, chains, pendants and watches. Among them is a lanyard with the words “Magnata”, the name by which the MC identifies himself on the networks. See below.

The police also seized a Range Rover brand car which was in a high-end house linked to the artist in Mogi das Cruzes, in the interior of São Paulo.
In operation Latus Actio II, carried out this Thursday, agents fulfilled a preventive arrest warrant and six for search and seizure. A civil police officer was arrested.
According to the police, the artists who promoted the illegal raffles feared that the investigations carried out by the suspected police officers result in court orders which would determine the blocking of their profiles on networks, mainly on Instagram.
Therefore, influencers would have agreed to pay bribes to agents to avoid economic and image losses.
This Thursday’s action was carried out by Task Force to Combat Organized Crime (Ficco-SP) in partnership with the Special Action Group for the Repression of Organized Crime (Gaeco) of the Public Ministry of São Paulo.
The court orders were complied with in Mauá, São Caetano do Sul, Mogi das Cruzes, São José dos Campos and in the capital of São Paulo.
In a note, the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat (SSP), which is responsible for the Civil Police, states that the The corporation’s internal affairs department monitored the operation this Thursday. Read below:
“The Civil Police Internal Affairs is monitoring an operation launched by the Task Force to Combat Organized Crime – FICCO/SP, in conjunction with GAECO/SP, on the morning of this Thursday (12), in the State of São Paulo. Details must be sent to the competent bodies. The Civil Police collaborates with the investigations.”

MC Paiva has released more than 50 songs, some of which are his own composition and others appear as contributions. On social media, the singer identifies himself as “Tycoon ”, which refers to a powerful, rich and influential person.
