McDonald’s “demolition” begins in Russia – The sign was taken down in a store in Moscow

The McDonald’s have closed throughout Russia due to the western sanctions imposed on him war in Ukrainewhile the process of “deconstruction” has just begun, as the removal of the brand from a central store of the chain in Moscow began.

According to Reuters, a video posted on social media and also reproduced by Russian news agencies shows the removal of the yellow arches outside the restaurant in Κιμκι.

It is noted that the company has closed around 850 restaurants across Russia, employing a total of 62,000 employees. In fact, according to Reuters, the departure of McDonald’s is one of the most prominent departures of companies from the country, in response to what Russia describes as a ‘special operation’ in neighboring Ukraine.
