Me against You are getting married: Luigi Calagna and Sofia Scalia have chosen the date

After twelve years of love, i Me against You, or the children's idols Luigi Calagna and Sofia Scalia, are about to become husband and wife: «The date is near», they said to Corriere della Sera, adding: “We would have liked to have done it sooner, too many projects overlapped with me.” There The wedding proposal, in fact, had arrived almost three years ago: to be precise in October 2021, when he, as tradition dictates, was kneeling in front of her on the shores of Lake Como, handing her the ring. Sofia, of course, had said “yes”. And then she explained: «I absolutely didn't expect it. I had intuited a little something, but I didn't imagine anything so important, so exciting, it was truly a Magic moment».

However, the Coronavirus had slowed down the matrimonial dreams of «Luì» and «Sofì». And not only: “Marriage is complicated with the Covid rules, we will think about it in the coming years. We will certainly celebrate it in Sicily and we are studying how to get fans to participate”, she explained in 2022. And he: “There are very high expectations on the part of those who follow us, they would all like to attend the event. We have to find a way to please them and enjoy an exciting day for us.” Now that day seems really close: «We're starting to get our heads around it. We didn't imagine that after the proposal people would expect us to get married soon, we thought we had more time. We want to share the wedding, properly, with the fans (over six millions on Youtubeed.)”.

Luigi Calagna, 31 years old, and Sofia Scalia, 26, met twelve years ago at the house of one of his cousins. At the time of the first meeting Sofì was just 15 years old, Luì was 20. For Calagna it was love at first sight, for Scalia not: «I courted her for almost six months until the fateful yes. And then we were always together”, explained Luigi. «At the beginning we were separated because I was studying Medicine in Palermo, she was in the village. Then I came back too, and we started making videos, for fun.” After the first children's films on YouTube, the two filmed thousands of sketches. Theirs will arrive in theaters in June sixth film (Me Against You The Movie – Operation Spy) and they have already left for the live show tours for their little fans.

Among many commitments, there is one that «Luì» and «Sofì» no longer want to postpone: the wedding. Waiting to expand the family: «We have millions of digital children, but we would like real ones even at this moment.”
