Measures to reduce bureaucracy in defense investment from EU countries

The European Commission today proposed the simplification of the terms governing investment in defense and defense supplies today, in the context of Europe’s re -equipment efforts by 2030. Specifically, the Commission proposes to establish a fast licensing status for defense projects. Today the EU licensing process can take several years and the Commission proposes to reduce this time frame to 60 days.
