The Ministry of Education (MEC) releases this Tuesday (27) the list of pre-selected candidates in the second call for scholarships for the 2024 edition of the University for All Program (Prouni).
The list will be available on Single Portal for Access to Higher Education. In the first edition, 406,428 scholarships will be offered, 308,977 full and 97,451 partial in 15,482 courses from 1,028 institutions.
According to the MEC, this is the largest scholarship offer since the creation of the program in 2005. The pre-selected candidate must submit documentation to the higher education institution to prove the data provided in the registration period from February 27th to March 7th. . The presentation can be made in person at the institution or electronically.
The first call took place on February 6th.
Program
Created in 2004, the Universidade Para Todos Program offers scholarships (full and partial) for undergraduate and sequential specific training courses at private colleges.
The program takes place twice a year and its target audience is students without a higher education degree. As criteria for selecting candidates, Prouni considers monthly gross family income, per person; if the candidate completed high school in a public school or as a full scholarship holder in a private high school institution, or is a person with a disability, among others provided for in the legislation.
