It has been said more than once on the Web that MediaTek’s single-chip Dimensity 9000 system came out not only quite powerful, but also very energy efficient. And here is another test that proves it. And this time, in addition to Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, smartphones on Snapdragon 870 and Kirin 9000 were included in the comparison.

Smartphones on these platforms were tested with the Peace Elite game in HDR mode and at 90 fps. Peace Elite is a kind of PUBG Mobile clone for the Chinese market, where the game is very popular. As for the results, they are:
- Dimensity 9000: 3.92W;
- Kirin 9000: 4.57 W;
- Snapdragon 870: 4.8W;
- Snapdragon 8 Gen 1: 5.3W
The source does not say anything about the performance of each model, but earlier in benchmarks, the Dimensity 9000 demonstrated performance at the level of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, although in games it produced a slightly lower frame rate due to a not so powerful GPU. However, the new test proves that with approximately equal performance, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 consumes much more than the Dimensity 9000. Moreover, being much more powerful than the Snapdragon 870 and Kirin 9000, the MediaTek platform consumes even less of these SoCs.
