The commitment of the NATO summit to accept, over time, Ukraine was denounced today, Thursday 11/7 by the former president of Russia Dmitry Medvedev. “Russia should work for the “disappearance” of both Ukraine and the military alliance,” he underlined. In a social media post, Medvedev cited in English the NATO declaration from the NATO summit in Washington this week: “We will continue to support (Ukraine) in this irreversible path to full Euro-Atlantic integration, including of joining NATO”. Medvedev continued in Russian: “The conclusion is obvious. We must do everything so that Ukraine’s “irreversible path” to NATO ends either with its disappearance or with the disappearance of NATO.
