Medvedev released map showing Ukraine divided between Russia, Poland, Romania and Hungary

The former Russian president and current vice-president of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, in a post he made on Telegram published two maps of Ukraine.

“In the mind of the president of Ukraine, damaged by psychoactive substances, this is what the map of his country’s bright future will look like,” Medvedev wrote of the first map in his Telegram post.

In the second map the territories of Ukraine are divided between Russia, Poland, Hungary and Romania, with the territories of Russia reaching Romania.

It shows the territory of Ukraine as limited to Kyiv and a small surrounding area, with seven regions in the west annexed by Poland and three in the southwest by Hungary and Romania. The rest of the country was completely absorbed by Russia.

Medvedev claimed that this map was made by “Western analysts” whom he did not name.

As the eurasiantimes reports, Medvedev, once considered a reformer by the West, has adopted an increasingly belligerent tone since the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

On June 7, he called Russia’s enemies “bastards and nerds” who “want the death of Russia” and vowed that as long as he lives, he will “do everything to wipe them out.”

“Dmitri Medvedev, it seems, is trying to prove his importance — and his loyalty — to a system that has become noticeably more belligerent and less tolerant of shades of gray,” Ben Noble, an associate professor of Russian, recently told the Moscow Times of Politics at University College London.
