Meet Sandra Delgado, screenwriter and partner of Wagner Moura for 20 years

Starred by Wagner Moura, “The Secret Agent” made his big debut at the Cannes Festival entitled to 13 minutes of applause for the new movie by Kleber Mendonça Filho. But another highlight of the festival was Sandra Delgado, wife of the actor who accompanied him for the event.

Journalist, photographer, screenwriter and documentary filmmaker Sandra met the actor at the Federal University of Bahia, where both studied media, but only started dating after both graduated.

Over the years, Sandra specialized in photography and also in other cinematic areas as a script and documentary.

Between 2008 and 2010, She worked as a photographer in the “Third Sign” series displayed by GNT, which features big names in the Brazilian theatrical direction such as Aderbal Freire-Filho, José Celso Martinez Corrêa, Amir Haddad and Domingos Oliveira. In 2018, his project “Objects of Memory” opened the Rio de Janeiro International Photography Festival.

She was also One of the writers of “Maria and the Cangaço” Brazilian Miniseries of Disney+, which tells the story of Maria Bonita and her journey to become the iconic Brazilian cangaceira.

Together since 2001, Wagner and Sandra are parents three boys: Good 18, Savior 14, and Joseph 12.

In “The Secret Agent”, Wagner Moura lives Marcelo, a technology expert who escapes a mysterious past and decides to return to Recife in search of a little peace, but realizes that the city is far from being the Refuge that seeks. See the first reactions to the movie.
