Meet: the new “floating” Start menu Windows 10

Microsoft is currently working hard on a “grand” reboot of the design and interface of Windows 10.

Meet: the new

The Action Center (Windows 10 Action Center), Start menu, text input fields and other elements will lose their unnecessary angularity and will become slightly rounded. But there will be other changes as well.

WindowsLatest has shown what the Start menu and search box might look like in a new design. As with the all-new Windows 10X, the Action Center (Windows 10 Action Center) and Start menu will visually separate from the taskbar, starting to “hover” above it. The degree of rounding of the corners and the distance to the taskbar, unfortunately, are not adjustable.

The new user interface and design project is internally codenamed Sun Valley and will be part of the Windows 10 Cobalt or 21H2 release. For ordinary users, this version of the OS will be available in the fall of 2021, most likely in October. Test program participants will be introduced to the new design in the summer.
