O CyberDog 2 is the new model of robot dog released by Xiaomi at the end of last year.
The little robot, in the shape of a dog, can perform highly difficult maneuvers, such as doing backward somersaults, in addition to being resistant to falls.
The company also promises more precise control over the dog's movements, which also has a detection and decision-making system with 19 sensors for vision, touch and hearing.
The robot has a smart camera and can identify its owners through voice or image, in addition to obeying commands and gestures. It is used for playing, keeping company and other characteristics of real dogs.
And it also has the ability to walk around avoiding obstacles and get smarter depending on interactions.
But, in addition, according to Xiaomi, the robot dog was also created to assist in the integration of a smart home, being able to execute commands such as turning on or off the lights at home.
Another new feature is that Xiaomi uses open source technology in the robot, allowing users to “customize” both the dog's hardware and software functions.
