The Deputy Minister of Development and Investment and Member of Parliament for Corinth, Mr. Christos Dimas, met today with the Ambassador of Mexico, Daniel Hernández Joseph and the Chief of Staff for Economic, Commercial and International Affairs of the Embassy, Laura Mora.
The subject of their discussion was the intergovernmental agreement between the two countries on scientific and technological cooperation.
Greece and Mexico had signed a transnational agreement since 1999 on scientific and technological cooperation, but it remains inactive.
In the context of the strengthening of relations between the two countries, in the field of research and innovation, the parties decided to resume contacts for the activation of the transnational agreement.
The Deputy Minister of Development and Investment, Mr. Christos Dimas, stated the following:
“Today we discussed with the Mexican ambassador how we can strengthen the relations between the two countries in research and innovation and we agreed together to finally activate the transnational agreement.”
