Nikos Androulakis will meet tomorrow, Monday, with the Portuguese Prime Minister and leader of the Portuguese Socialist Party, Antonio Costa. The meeting will take place at 9:30 am local time in Lisbon, where the chairman of the Movement for Change, head of the party delegation, will be present.
During the visit, Mr. Androulakis will have the opportunity to talk with the Portuguese Prime Minister about the use of the Recovery Fund, the Portuguese program for the construction of 26,000 houses for rent by social criteria by young couples, in order to address the ongoing rising housing costs as well as ways to boost the extroversion of small and medium-sized enterprises. They will also discuss the need for a common European response to the energy crisis, the war in Ukraine and the new Common Foreign and Security Policy strategy that the Union should have.
This will be followed by a working lunch at 12:30 (local time) with the Secretary of International Relations, Jamila Madeira.
At 15:00 (local time) meeting with the Deputy Foreign Minister in charge of International Economic Diplomacy Eurico Brilhante Dias.
At 16:00 (local time) meeting with Planning Minister Nelson de Sousa, responsible for economic and social development strategy, taking into account convergence and cohesion goals.
At 17:00 (local time) meeting with the Minister of Economy and Digital Transition Pedro Siza Vieira.
At 18:00 (local time) meeting with the Minister of Infrastructure and Housing Pedro Nuno Santos.
