THE Federal Savings Bank this Saturday (17), the draw for the 2,521 Mega-Sena contest. The prize is accumulated and estimated at R$ 125 million for those who match the six dozen drawn.
The draw will take place at 20:00 (Brasília time), with live broadcast by Caixa’s social networks.
To compete, players can register their games up to one hour before the draw, at 7 pm, at any lottery house accredited by Caixa or through the bank’s website or application. A single ticket, with six numbers marked, costs R$ 4.50.
For games played on Caixa’s website, the minimum amount to bet on Mega-Sena is R$30, whether for a single bet or more than one.
To make a bigger bet, with seven numbers, the price rises to R$ 31.50, according to Caixa.
Another option to reach the minimum price is to make seven single bets, which together have the same value, R$ 31.50. In addition, pools, available online, are another option.
One way to bet on Mega-Sena, in addition to individual games, is to form a group to choose the numbers, the so-called Bolão.
When registered in the system, the bet generates a quota receipt for each participant, who can redeem their share of the prize individually.
The pools have a minimum value of R$ 10 and each share must be at least R$ 5, being possible to carry out a pool of at least two and a maximum of 100 shares.
The bettor can also purchase shares of pools organized by the lottery. Just ask the attendant for the number of shares you want and keep the receipt to check the bet on the day of the draw.
In this case, an additional service fee of up to 35% of the quota value may be charged, at the discretion of the lottery.
The gross premium corresponds to 43.35% of the collection. Of this percentage:
- 35% are distributed among those who match the 6 numbers drawn (Sena);
- 19% among those who correctly match 5 numbers (Quina);
- 19% among those who match 4 numbers (Quadra);
- 22% are accumulated and are distributed to those who match the 6 numbers in the final 0 or 5 contests.
- 5% are accumulated for the first band – sena – of the last contest of the year ending 0 or 5 (Mega da Virada).
If there is no winner in any range, the value accumulates for the next contest, in the respective prize range.
Prizes expire 90 days after the draw date. After this period, the amounts are transferred to the national treasury for application in the Financing Fund for Higher Education Students (Fies).
