Megadap has unveiled the ETZ11 adapter for use with Sony E mount lenses with Nikon Z system cameras.According to the source, this is the first automatic adapter of its kind that is compatible with both Nikon Z full frame mirrorless cameras and APS format Nikon Z cameras. C (FX and DX in Nikon terms).
The adapter supports a “wide range” of Sony E-mount lenses. In particular, Megadap claims to have tested both automatic and manual shooting with Samyang (Rokinon), Sigma, Sony, Tamron, Voigtlander and Zeiss lenses. The adapter supports AF-S and AF-C autofocus functions, as well as aperture control and built-in image stabilizer, even with lenses without electronics.
The adapter adds just 2mm between the lens and the camera. It is made of aluminum alloy and has a micro-USB port for firmware upgrades. It’s already available on the Megadap online store for $ 249.
