Russian operator MegaFon announced the launch of a voice assistant called Eva. In fact, this is a personal secretary for each subscriber based on an artificial intelligence system.

“Eva” will be able to answer the call if the user cannot do it himself, or simply does not want to. As planned by the developers, this way the subscriber will get rid of voice spam, but will not miss an important call. The decryption of the missed call will be sent to the subscriber in the messenger.

“Eva” received several dozen dialogue scenarios for different occasions – from a call from a bank employee to a relative or friend. For example, when calling from a bank with a mortgage offer, “Eva” will independently clarify all the conditions with the specialists, after that it will turn the conversation into text format and send the subscriber an audio and a printed version of the recording in Telegram.

You can connect via a special Telegram chat for free. At the time of testing, “Eva” is available to several thousand subscribers of the Moscow branch of MegaFon, and in the fall it is planned to launch in all Russian regions. In the future, “Eva” will be able not only to receive, but also to make calls for the subscriber.
