Known as “The One,” the 9,750-square-foot, 21-bedroom, 49-bathroom property boasts 360-degree views of the ocean and alps, as well as downtown Los Angeles.

Initially, the auction site Concierge Auctions expected the property, which sits high on a mountain on an area of ​​3.8 acres, to be purchased for $295 million.

Although the new owner was not disclosed, the newspaper “LA Times” stated that Richard SaghianCEO of a chain of online women’s stores, Fashion Nova, would be the buyer.

Saghian owns two other homes in Southern California, including a $14.7 million Malibu beach house he bought from Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos and a $17.5 million one in the Hollywood Hills, it said. the newspaper.

Saghian, 40, would be an “avid real estate collector”. “I recognized this purchase as a rare opportunity that allows me to own a unique property that is destined to be a part of Los Angeles history,” he reportedly said in a statement.
