The prize was awarded to them a few days before screening of a highly anticipated documentary series from Netflix and amid intense speculation that Harry and Meghan, known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, will talk about the British royal family.

Since stepping down from their official royal duties, they have settled in California and have repeatedly criticized the British monarchy, alleging racism, which the royal family denies.

In a trailer for the series, Harry is seen accusing the royal family of leaking incidents involving his family and declaring that he and his wife are ready to tell the truth about this experience.
