It is very close to the arrival of The Me You Can’t See, the already announced docuseries, visible from May 21 on Apple TV +, which will see the Principe Harry e Oprah Winfrey address issues related to mental health. In the trailer, released today by Apple TV and which gives viewers some previews of what will be on the air, the images of the two hosts, the characters who will intervene and not least also of Meghan Markle.
In fact, in a matter of seconds, Harry’s wife can be seen peeking out behind her husband while, smiling, wearing a white t-shirt with a clearly visible slogan: “Raising the Future”. A (fashion) choice certainly not casual that of the (ex) Duchess.
The shirt is in fact a garment of Mother Sister, an English clothing brand which, as the name suggests, was born to be a reflection of the “sisterhood between mothers”. Founded by Carrie Anne Roberts, an active supporter of pink solidarity, the brand has its roots infemale empowerment, in the mutual support between women, first and foremost mothers, often alone, who have to struggle every day with a thousand difficulties to be able to reconcile work, family, children, home, life.
Needless to say, the creative joy at the sight of Meghan with one of her products was not long in coming. «Sorry, but if you know how my brand was born and why then you will understand why I have a tear right now. Infinitely grateful »reads her post on Instagram.
The Mère Soeur brand, in fact, was born when Roberts, with a three-month-old son and separated from her partner, found herself alone, and without friends who understood her situation since they had no offspring. On Instagram she found a large community of mothers in which she found support and who pushed her to throw herself into this adventure – as she herself told in an interview.
It is therefore not surprising that Meghan Markle has chosen for her look a T-shirt – still available at the price of 27 pounds – of a brand founded by a woman, and above all the bearer of that strong message of which she herself has always been an active supporter of.
But it is not the first time that Harry’s wife has approached this brand. Before the T-shirt, Meghan was pictured in 2019, in South Africa, pregnant with her first child, with Mothers2Mothers, a charity that supports HIV-infected mothers, while showing women some dresses from Archie, including a baby bodysuit with the inscription «The Future».
The future. What a precious treasure.
