Meizu announced a partnership with Qualcomm back at the Snapdragon Summit in December. The company is expected to release new flagship phones in the Meizu 18 line soon based on the Snapdragon 888 SoC.
According to a well-known Chinese insider under the nickname Digital Chat Station, Meizu 18 smartphones have already been certified in China, they received model numbers M181Q and M191Q. Last year, the Meizu 17 and 17 Pro received model numbers M081Q and M091Q, respectively. In 2018, Meizu 16 and 16 Plus received model numbers M882Q and M892Q, respectively.

It is also reported that smartphones will be equipped with 4000 and 4500 mAh batteries, respectively. Another interesting point is the lack of a charger. The 3C regulator database clearly states that the models will be “sold without standard power supply”.
In the fall, Apple removed the charger and headphones from the iPhone 12. Xiaomi followed suit with the Xiaomi Mi 11, however, unlike Apple, the company also offers customers a version with a charger. The Samsung Galaxy S21 does not have a charger either. Now other companies can safely remove accessories from the delivery set, for which no one will blame them.
The Meizu 18 is expected to receive an OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a periscope camera, 100W wired fast charging, and 40-55W wireless fast charging.
