Mel B talks about possible Spice Girls reunion: “Working on a project”

Is there anything new coming? In an interview with Glamour, singer Mel B said that the Spice Girls members are still close and shared that they would be working on a big project. The “scary spice”, as she was nicknamed in the band, also shared that the announcement will be made soon, in the middle of this year. “I can't say much about it, but it's the five of us, which is really exciting,” she mentions.

In addition to Mel B, the group was made up of members: Mel C, Geri Halliwell, Victoria Beckham and Emma Bunton. This year, they would have celebrated 30 years on the road, which could be the reason for a possible reunion. The Spice Girls' Instagram account shared a photo of the group celebrating the New Year and took the opportunity to talk about the group's three-decade anniversary.

During the interview, Mel B also comments on the evolution of her career over the years. In addition to the special project with the Spice Girls, she shares that she is working on a book that will be released later this year.

In addition to performing at the 2012 Olympics in London, the girls embarked on one last tour that took place in the United Kingdom in 2019, this time, without Victoria, who at the time was focused on her career as a fashion designer.
