At the beginning of October, the actress celebrated the end of her hair transition on social media, after months of making the decision to no longer undergo chemical procedures to straighten her hair.
“End of transition! And news coming soon”, wrote the artist when sharing a video on her Instagram profile. “The cut is for a character from the 1990s,” he explained.
“I finally managed to get rid of all the chemicals I had in my hair and embrace my curls. I feel much more free and ready for the character”, concluded Mel.
In the record, the actress shows the entire transformation process, in which she cut all the straightened part of her hair, made a fringe and left the strands at shoulder length.
In recent months, due to her hair transition, Mel Maia kept her hair tied up in a bun and added an extension when she needed a more elaborate look at events.
