The actress Honey Maia 20, used social media this Tuesday (16) to say that she and a friend were followed by two men on the streets of Paris. The artist, however, stated that she was not scared since she is “Brazilian” and “from Rio” and therefore knows how to defend herself.
Mel Maia explained that she was walking near the Eiffel Tower and decided to take photos at the tourist attraction. “There were two really strange guys there and I felt like they were looking at us with an evil look and pointing their cell phones at us. When we were leaving that street, I looked at his cell phone to see if they weren’t doing anything wrong and I left with an angry look, a really cocky look,” she began.
“And then we went walking. We lost our way. Then we realized that we had lost our way and turned back, [vimos que] the guys were following us”. The actress said that her heart “froze” and that her friend, Lívia Gomes, was nervous.
Mel Maia then stated that it is necessary to “be careful”, but that she did not despair about knowing how to defend herself in these situations. “We are Brazilian, we are from Rio de Janeiro and I know how to fight. I take classes to fight”, continued the actress.
“Before you cancel me, obviously we have to be careful everywhere in the world, anything can happen, we have to always be quick and so on… but like this, we who are Brazilian, from Rio, we are rats. We always know where to run, how to hit – I have never hit anyone, but I am cautious because I box,” she explained.
