Few will really learn what it is like to live and work in the White House as the First Lady of the United States, or the pressure you have to maintain family life and public office. As spokesman for the president Donald Trump and then First Lady Stephanie Grisham reveals many “secrets” in her book “I’ll Take Your Questions Now”.
The Secret Service named “Rapunzel” Inks, reports the Washington Post, like beautiful woman trapped in a tower, so Mrs. Trump rarely went beyond the White House.
The Post and other media outlets have obtained copies of Grisham’s 352-page book, which served the White House on Trump until Jan. 6, when he resigned over his handling of the US Capitol attack.
Melania Trump: Her concern about her accent
According to APE-MPE, the former chief of staff of Melania, is said to write in her book for the anger she felt with reports of her husband’s infidelities, for her preference to travel comfortably (reportedly changing as soon as she boarded Air Force One) and for insecurities about her pronunciation and writing in english, which is not her mother tongue.
Melania Trump’s office for Grisham told PEOPLE: “The intention behind this book is obvious. It is an attempt to atone after a poor performance as a press secretary, failed personal relationships and unprofessional behavior in the White House. “Through inaccuracy and betrayal, he seeks to gain importance and money at the expense of Mrs. Trump.”
There is a whole chapter in the book about Mrs. Trump’s infamous jacket with the slogan “I Really Don’t Care, Do U?” she wore to visit immigrant children in Texas, according to the Post. Grisham reportedly wrote that she was too busy organizing the trip to prevent the first lady from wearing this $ 39 jacket.
Returning to the White House, Grisham writes – according to the New York Times – she and Mrs. Trump were in the Oval Office when the President asked her: “What do you think?”. He later decided to respond to a tweet that the message of the jacket was addressed to “Fake News Media”.
As the presidency progressed and came to an end, Grisham reportedly argued that Mrs. Trump was more indifferent to her duties but never lost interest in photography. Grisham is even mentioned in the first lady’s photo albums as one of her “two children”.
