Melissa Joan Hart, best known for her role as Sabrina in Sabrina the teenage witchrevealed that she, in the company of her husband Mark Wilkerson, helped a group of preschool children to escape from the shooting that occurred on March 27, at a school in Nashville, Tennessee, United States.
Through a video on Twitter, the actress, still nervous and with tears in her eyes, asked the public to pray for the families of those affected and that this type of violent act stops, because no one deserves to go through a situation like this.

The shooting in Nashville occurred at the hands of a former student who killed three nine-year-old children and three school workers. According to the authorities and Melissa herself, the number of victims did not rise because school staff, teachers, and students managed to escape.
Hi guys. For those of you who don’t know, I live in Nashville and my kids go to school right next to the school where there was a shooting today.
We moved here from Connecticut, where our children attended a college just steps from Sandy Hook, so this is our second experience of a school shooting with our children nearby. Fortunately, all are well.
My husband and I were on our way to school for lectures, and we helped a class of kindergartners cross a busy highway. They were coming out of the woods. They were trying to escape the shooter at their school. So we help these very young children to cross the road, and also their teachers. We help mothers reunite with their children.
I don’t know what else to say, enough, enough! Pray, pray for the families. Thank you so much.
Melissa confessed that this is not the first time she has gone through a similar situation and urged that this type of situation stop. It should be noted that on both occasions the actress’s children have been out of danger, since they do not attend the schools where the shootings took place. However, their schools were close to both areas.
