Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni today criticized the competitiveness of the European Union, stressing that the European bloc is “increasingly doomed to geopolitical insignificance”. Speaking in the city of Rimini in northeast Italy, Meloni said the EU “is not able to effectively respond to the challenges of competitiveness in China and the US”.
