Memorandum of cooperation between AUTh and the Association of Exporters

The memorandum of cooperation, signed today between the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and the Association of Exporters (aims at the development of joint actions to prevent brain drain, as well as the utilization of university research, to increase the competitiveness of Greek companies) ΣΕΒΕ). The cooperation of the two bodies also aims at the utilization of the intellectual products of the AUTh research, the development of entrepreneurship actions at the university with emphasis on extroversion, the possible professional absorption of the AUTh graduates and the development of synergies for the promotion and adoption of 4th Industrial Revolution.

It also envisages, among other things, the cooperation for the strengthening of the applied research and the participation in financial programs and means, the internship of the students of AUTh in export companies and in the Institute of Export Research and Studies (IEES) of SEVE and the cooperation of the Association with the Employment and Career Structure (DASTA) of Aristotle.

From the AUTh side, the memorandum was signed by the rector, Professor Nikolaos Papaioannou, and the president of SEVE, Georgios Konstantopoulos. The two bodies have signed a cooperation agreement in 2013, which today has been ratified and is being strengthened.
