EV Greece and the National Center for Research and Technological Development (CERTH) join forces to make the most of national and European financial opportunities, with the aim of developing innovative solutions for the benefit of entrepreneurship and the economy.
In this context, EV and CERTH signed a memorandum of cooperation on the joint promotion of research and innovation, the use of new knowledge and the interconnection of research with business, depending on the available financial tools.
The cooperation was sealed on Thursday, May 5, during a meeting held at the offices of EV in Athens, with the participation of Mr. Panagiotis Papazoglou, CEO of EV Greece, Dr. Dimitriou Tzovaras, Chairman of the Board and Director of the Central Directorate of CERTH, Mr. Evangelos Bekiaris, Vice President, Member and Director of the Institute for Sustainable Mobility and Transport Networks (HIT) and Mr. Vassilis Tsimonikas S. EY Greece and Head of Access Services to European Financing Programs.
The main areas of EY-CERTH cooperation
The cooperation focuses on the following areas:
-Interaction and cooperation for the promotion of innovation in the context of national and European financial instruments, and the commercial exploitation of research results.
-Cooperation for the identification of opportunities and funding programs, both at European and national level, and networking and exchange of know-how, with the aim of cooperation for the submission of proposals within them.
-Tests of innovative systems / technologies, through the simulation models available by CERTH.
-Co-organizing an annual event to raise awareness about the cooperation between EY and CERTH, and to promote the relevant results.
The creation of a quality framework of cooperation between EV Greece and CERTH will contribute to the utilization of cutting-edge know-how for the development of innovative technological applications and new products and services.
