Menendez brothers: unprecedented documentary about the case premieres this Monday (7)

One Unreleased documentary about the case of brothers Lyle and Erik Menendez convicted of murdering his parents in 1989, premieres this Monday (7). “The Case of the Menendez Brothers” is now available on Netflix.

The documentary production arrives on the streaming platform after the success of the true crime series “Monsters: Menendez Brothers: Killers of Their Parents”, created by Ryan Murphy. The series brought the case back into the spotlight, but it also received harsh criticism from the Menendez brothers and their real-life family.

The new documentary features Lyle and Erik, who remain in prison and gave interviews about the case for the first time in 30 years. In addition to testimonies from the lawyers responsible, jurors, family and other people with internal information, it brings new information and other perspectives on the crime. Directed by Argentinian Alejandro Hartmann.

Lyle and Erik Menendez were convicted in 1996 of murdering their parents, José and Kitty, in one of the most famous criminal cases of the end of the last century.
