Merkel teleconference today with heads of state, on the table the “privileges” for vaccinated

German Chancellor Angela Merkel will hold a teleconference with the Prime Ministers of the states today, with key issues of regaining some individual freedoms for the vaccinated, the imminent abolition of the order of priority in the immunization campaign and the distribution of vaccines between clinics and vaccination centers in order to speed up the process.

According to information leaked to the media, and transmitted by AMPE, the federal Ministry of Justice examines the issue of “benefits” for those who have completed their vaccination or have recovered from Covid-19, but nothing is taken for granted.

This plan under discussion provides that these two categories should, e.g. when visiting shops or nursing homes, be treated like those who test negative for coronavirus, but also when returning from “danger areas” not be forced to remain in quarantine. An exception is expected for those who visit areas where a variation of the main strain of the new coronavirus is on the rise.

Asked how the people who have been vaccinated abroad will be managed, the representative of the Ministry of Health, Sebastian Goulde, stated a while ago that there is no decision yet.
