Merkel to agree to gradual lifting of COVID-19 lockdowns – Reuters

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is expected to agree to a gradual lifting of coronavirus restrictions when he meets with regional leaders later on Wednesday, Reuters reports, citing a draft of the plan.

However, the German leader will say that restrictions could be tightened again if infections increase, according to Reuters.
