Merkel to agree to gradual lifting of COVID-19 lockdowns – Reuters

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is expected to agree to a gradual lifting of coronavirus restrictions when he meets with regional leaders later on Wednesday, Reuters reports, citing a draft of the plan.

However, the German leader will say that restrictions could be tightened again if infections increase, according to Reuters.

“The draft plan says that As of March 8, a maximum of five people from two households will be allowed to meet, excluding children under 14 years of age ”.
