Large files and HD photos can now be sent via Messenger after the platform underwent an update this week.
It is now possible to send files of up to 100 MB between Messenger users, which the company's messaging application Goal connected to Facebook .
To send photos in HD, you just need to activate a button marked “HD”. The option must also be selected to send multiple photos at once.
Additionally, the new Messenger update also allows users to create shared albums of files.
The new functionality allows all participants in the shared album to view, add, delete and download photos and videos from the album.
To find the album at any time, simply tap the group chat name and then tap the media option. This feature will be rolling out in the coming weeks.
