Met Gala, 13 curiosities about the clothes worn on the most glamorous night in New York

This is the second chapter dedicated to US fashion that will follow the exhibition In America: A Lexicon of Fashion, opened in September last year.

Three presidents (the stylist Tom Fordthe head of Instagram Adam Mosseri And Anna Wintour), 4 new hosts (The actress and director Regina Kingthe actress Blake Lively together with her husband Ryan Reynolds and the actor and playwright Lin-Manuel Miranda), but above all a theme that promises a great show on the horizon: Gilded Glamor.

Fluffy dresses, corsets, lace. There will be highly scenic outfits in this new edition of the event, just as they have never been lacking even in past ones. There are those who spent hours preparing themselves, those who amazed with incredible effects and those who, on the other hand, lived the event not exactly very well – despite a respectable dress. In short, from that far away 1948, when it all began, that of Met Gala has become one of the most glamorous nights in New York.
