As part of the globalization program for the collection token market, Meta has integrated NFT into its social networks Facebook and Instagram.
Initially, the ability to post NFTs in social networking applications appeared on Instagram. The company said at the time that NFT creators and owners in 100 countries in Africa, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and the Americas would be able to post their digital collectibles on the social network.
At the same time, the platform will support the Ethereum, Polygon and Flow blockchains, as well as the wallets of partner companies, including Trust Wallet, Rainbow Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, Dapper and MetaMask.
The new functionality has been tested by a narrow circle of NFT creators and collectors in the US. Mark Zuckerberg’s initiative to expand this feature on Facebook is indicative of the company’s phased implementation of its plans to provide global access to NFTs.
Meta said that by supporting the collectible token market, the company aims to increase accessibility, lower barriers to entry, and help make the NFT space more open to all communities.
Recently, the investment firm Galaxy Digital, after studying the metaverse policies in the market, stated that no company creating virtual worlds guarantees the protection of rights to gaming property.
