THE Metallic It will launch a documentary to tell the best stories of your fans. “Metallica Saved My Life” (“Metallica saved my life”, in free translation), had the teaser released by the band’s social networks on Wednesday (9).
In the movie, directed by Swedish filmmaker Jonas åkerlund, fans comment on the relationship with the band and report Stories of belonging with music and metal.
“I want to hear them. I want to hear them all,” says vocalist James Hetfield in the video. In the images, fans refer to fan club as “family.”
Still incomplete, “Metallica Saved My Life” will be shown in cities that receive the band’s new tour, M72, which starts on April 18. Recently, Metallica participated in an immersive experience project with an Apple virtual reality glasses.
“This documentary explores our world through the lives of fans who have leaned on tall, downs, challenges and triumphs for over four decades,” says Metallica in the announcement. Check out the video below.
