“The entire Web3 community was affected by this issue and we worked hard to fix it. We have now released Metamask 10.5.0 and you can work with your Ledger Nano devices again, ”Consensys said in a statement.

To work with the Ledger Nano, Metamask users need to select the WebHID connection type in the advanced wallet settings. That being said, you no longer need to use the Ledger Live app to connect your hardware wallet to Metamask.
