The manufacturers of the MetaMask cryptocurrency wallet have added a new feature – users will be able to buy cryptocurrencies with fiat currencies directly from the wallet.

The new feature has become part of the decentralized application Portfolio Dapp. It allows you to connect your MetaMask wallet and pay for the purchase of digital assets using local payment gateways. A wide variety of payment options are supported, including bank transfers, PayPal, and payment cards. The function will work in 189 countries, and there are more than 90 assets of eight networks in the list of tokens and cryptocurrencies.

To buy cryptocurrencies, the user needs to connect the MetaMask wallet on the Portfolio Dapp page. Then select the country, payment method, desired cryptocurrency and network, as well as the amount of purchase. Depending on the country, the user may be asked to pass verification. In addition, limits on the purchase of digital assets differ depending on the jurisdiction.

Earlier, the MetaMask wallet added integration with the Meruryo platform, which allows you to buy cryptocurrencies using Apple Pay and Google Pay, as well as bank transfers. However, the list of available assets was much smaller.
