Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich said that the total amount of investment in the first cryptocurrency exceeded $ 1.64 billion, and the number of bitcoins purchased is 16,352 BTC.
An unrealized profit of Metaplanet from investing in cryptocurrency reached $ 708.5 million. The company takes fifth place in the world among corporate holders of bitcoins traded on the exchange, after Strategy, Mara, Twenty One and Riot Platforms.
According to Metaplanet, its profitability from investment in the first cryptocurrency from April 1 to June 30 was 129.4%, and in quarterly terms from July 1 to 14 – 19.4%.
Earlier, Simon Georovich said that in the future he plans to use the cryptocurrency reserve of his company to purchase other companies that create profit in the market.
