The technique was called Ortotropy and was developed in the 1970s by British orthodontist Jonh Mew and sought to guide the growth of the face until it reached the desired format. What are the risks of Mewing?
In an interview with the CNN dental surgeon Ianara Pinho warns of the risks of practice, which can even harm health, causing complications and pain.
