The detection of four human skulls in a package destined for the USA, announced the authorities of of Mexicoduring a check at Queretaro International Airport.
According to the announcement of the National Guard, the skulls were wrapped in aluminum foil and placed in a cardboard box.
The package was mailed from the western coastal state of Michoacán – one of the worst hit by the wave of cartel violence sweeping Mexico – to an address in Manning, South Carolina, according to the same img.
The National Guard did not say whether the age, or identity, of the people who owned the skullswhile also giving no incentive for mailing them.
He limited himself to stating how the transport of human remains required a special permit from the health authorities, which had not been secured.
