The Court of Justice of Minas Gerais granted provisional release to the woman arrested after making racial slurs and attacking employees at Belo Horizonte International Airport, in Confins (MG). The custody hearing was held last Monday (24).
The magistrate responded to the request of the Public Ministry of Minas Gerais, which requested his release. In the decision, the judge stated that Luana Otoni de Paula’s conduct, despite being reprehensible, did not have “objective gravity” enough to maintain imprisonment.
A precautionary measure determining Luana’s monthly appearance in court was established.
Luana was arrested last Sunday (23), at Belo Horizonte International Airport, after attacking air terminal employees. According to the incident report, she appeared drunk. According to the police report, she hurled racist insults at an employee of the Azul airline.
The Federal Police were called and the woman was charged with the crimes of insult, racial insult, disturbing work or the peace of others, contempt and criminal acts.
A CNN was unable to locate the attacker’s defense.
