The Minas Gerais Civil Police (PCMG), together with the Military Police (PMMG) and the Public Prosecution Service (MPMG), announced on Tuesday afternoon (20) the conclusion of investigations into the Death of a 14 -year -old inside a private school in Uberaba in the mining triangle.
According to investigations the crime was previously planned by two 14 -year -olds, colleagues of the victim.
The delegate responsible for the investigation, Cyro Outeiro Pinto Moreira, said that the facts occurred suddenly, without antecedent of misunderstanding among those involved.
“The victim was surprised by a knife blow to the chest, after receiving a ticket with a death sentence. The images of the security cameras show the performance of the two teenagers in a coordinated manner. Other students present were oblivious to what happened,” said the delegate.
The crime took place on May 8, inside the Free Learning College classroom in the University neighborhood of Uberaba. The Civil Police began investigations shortly after the crime. The first teenager was seized on the same day after an anonymous report. Upon being approached, he confessed to the facts and indicated the participation of his colleague.
During the operation, PCMG and PMMG served six search and seizure warrants. Several materials were collected, such as school notebooks and electronic equipment, as well as an escape plan handled by adolescents. At the end of the investigation, the police procedure was sent to the prosecutor for legal measures.
“This is an isolated fact. There are no other people investigated, nor list with names of possible victims. Schools continue to be safe places,” said prosecutor Diego Martins Aguillar.
The two adolescents offenders were seized and respond for an offense analogous to the crime of homicide and remain admitted by decision of the Child and Youth Court in Uberaba.
The case is under judicial secrecy, and the liability of those involved occurs in the socio -educational sphere, as provided by law.
